Serenity Center

The Serenity Center has been offering free, confidential lay counseling in Shelby County and surrounding areas since 1997.

Our lay counselors are available to assist in areas of addiction, marriage, family, depression, grief, finances and many others.

We believe in a holistic approach to healing that involves the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of a person.

In addition to individual and family counseling, the Serenity Center offers a number of support groups: Narcotics Anonymous, GriefShare, and DivorceCare.

The Serenity Center has an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist that offers counseling to individuals, families, couples, adults, and children at no cost.

If a man has decided that he wants more than a safe place to live, then we may qualify them to be a 3 to 6 month client in our transitional program.
